Dr. Eric Yapjuangco is an excellent doctor. When I first consulted with him - I think this was September 11, 2015 - he quoted me a price no other clinic could beat. Although I was rather hesitant at first to undergo eye bag removal, he convinced me that the operation is a casual and normal one, and all wound will heal in due time, that is - within three months.
On September 15, the operation got underway. I was asked to go to the clinic at 10 am. Arriving at the Clinic, the anesthesiologist talked to me and explained that I would be put to complete sleep, and that I would have no knowledge of what would be going on. He also explained that as soon as I woke up, I would feel groggy and totally disoriented.
After waiting for about two and a half hours, just sitting down and doing nothing, I was called to the operating room. Dr. Eric himself took pictures of "Before Operation" appearances and views of my face. Then I was put to sleep.
When I woke up, true to the words of the anesthesiologist, I was feeling groggy, like a drunkard - fully disoriented. Before leaving the clinic, I was given for FREE the medicines to take, and the ointment to be put in my eyes. I was then advised to return after two days.
I returned after two days with swollen face. I appeared like being hit on both sides of the face by Manny Pacquiao. Anyway, Dr. Eric assured me that the tomato-like swelling would diminish in the days to come. I was asked to return after two more days.
True to his words, the swelling subsided a bit, but not enough to remove the stitches still on my eyelids. I was asked again to return after 3 more days, that is on September 22.
Today is just September 21st. I would not know if by tomorrow, all stitches would be removed. Anyway, Dr. Eric assured me that come September 30, I would be in a good position to travel back to the USA. Should there be more bruises, then a letter from him to the immigration officers of the US Border and Protection Control would dispel any questions that my appearance is different from my passport pictures.
Probably, I assume I would be better looking by then. If this happens, then the operation was an excellent value for its cost. The clinic is located at the rear end of the ground floor of the 45-story Summit One Building. Although the clinic itself appears okay, the corridors leading to the clinic is not presentable enough. The staff is okay and very accommodating. The operating room is clean and hygienic. Except for the unsanitary-looking corridors leading to the clinic, everything else seems to be well.Very accommodatingXander, China, 12 Dec 14
