I wanted a dimple on one side of the cheek and was concerned about having a crater or indent on my face even when not smiling. Dr. Cheong gave an honest and accurate explanation that the dimple will stay visible even without smiling, during the early recovery days. Possibly up to 6 months from the day the dimple was created.
