Kambiz Golchin was educated at Wesley College in Dublin before undertaking his medical studies at Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland. He graduated in 1994 and continued his surgical training in Northern Ireland.
He became a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England in1998.He trained in Ear, Nose, and Throat surgery and passed the Otolaryngology and Head & Neck Surgery Fellowship examination of the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 2004 FRCS (ORL-HNS).
Developing an interest in all aspects of Facial Plastic and aesthetic surgery, he was awarded a one-year fellowship at the Australasian Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery. He was trained in Sydney with Dr Martyn Mendelsohn who is a leading Australian Facial Plastic Surgeon renowned for his pioneering work in modern rhinoplasty techniques.
During his time abroad he gained substantial experience in all aspects of facial aesthetic surgery with leading Australian surgeons.

He also established the “Fellow Clinic” in Sydney offering full range of both surgical and non-surgical procedures in Facial Plastic Surgery to facilitate ‘hands on’ experience for trainees in this field.
Mr Golchin was entered into the General Medical Council UK, and Irish Medical Council Specialist Register for Otolaryngology Surgery in 2006. He is a member of the British Association of Otorhinolarygologists & Head and Neck surgeons and the European Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery.
Mr Golchin has written several papers and presented in scientific meetings. He is very interested in teaching and completed a postgraduate Masters degree in Medical Science in Education for the Health Care Profession at Queens University Belfast.
Mr Golchin is a consultant ENT & Facial Plastic Surgeon. A Facial Plastic Surgeon does not perform plastic procedures below the neck, and he limits the area on which he operates. Examples of procedures performed by Facial Plastic Surgeons are facelifts, rhinoplasty, and browlifts.
Knowing that it is extremely difficult to excel at all of the surgeries included in the repertoire of a General Cosmetic surgeon, a facial plastic surgeon will usually perform only surgeries of the head and neck in order to perfect his/her abilities in this area.
