Dr M Jayasekhar
Biography:
Dr.M.S. Jayasekhar is an internationally acclaimed Plastic Surgeon.He qualified in Plastic Surgery (MCh) in 1993 , thereafter left to UK & Ireland for further higher training in the speciality. He was awarded FRCS from Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh in 1995. In 2000, Dr.Jayasekhar joined SP Fort Hospital, Trivandrum ; as Consultant Plastic & Cosmetic Surgeon. He popularised the scope of Cosmetic Surgery in Kerala, at very affordable prices, writing informative articles in the media as well as through patient awareness workshops. His efforts were acknowledged by national periodicals like India Today. Dr.Jayasekhar left back to UK in 2004 to gain further experience in the newer horizons of Plastic Surgery. He worked as Consultant Plastic Surgeon at the reputed Royal Preston Hospital & Pinderfields Hospital in the UK. Dr.Jayasekhar has many publications in international journals to his credit. He is an invited faculty speaker for conferences in India and abroad, and also has the reputation as an excellent medical tutor, and has been a trainer for the MY Plastic Surgery courses in the UK. Dr.Jayasekhar has a meritorious career and was the Gold Medallist for Surgery at the Kerala University level in 1988.
