• He studied medicine at the University of Athens. He specialized in ophthalmology and particularly in anterior segment surgery, interventions ie, cataract, glaucoma, corneal transplantation and correction of myopia with laser. He was awarded the title of Doctor of Medicine at the University of Leipzig in Germany.
• In 1992 he founded the Standard Ophthalmological Diagnostic and Therapeutic Center Ophthalmo-Check in Paleo Faliro. Collaborated with the Institute "Bud" and the Infirmary Health, which in 1993 started one of the first in Greece to refractive surgery for correcting myopia. Recognizing very early the future value of the Internet in 1995 designed the first Greek Eye Site.
• Considered one of the most skilled surgeons in modern Greece and in Europe for the treatment of cataracts, glaucoma and refractive correction with Laser.
• He specifically with intraocular lenses to correct presbyopia and astigmatism. The results of these studies have been reported in many conferences in Greece and abroad. He has been invited to many Greek and foreign conferences to give lectures and to take part in round tables around the object.
• Prof.. Pantelis Papadopoulos declared in June 2006 an honorary member of the International Institute of Ophthalmology renowned Barraquer, in recognition of its contribution to ophthalmology.
