Dr. Edouard Sabourdy grew up at Chamonix, just next to the Blanc. Both mother and father are chiropractors, and both are graduates of the famous Palmer school of chiropractic in Davenport Iowa, USA. But young Edouard did not immediately follow in their foot steps. Instead, he first studied Anthropology for four years, Traveled extensively and did research in Africa. He describes his experience during that time:
“ I felt uncomfortable not to be able to give something to these people, to be helpful to them in some way, so after much thought, I went back to France, and decided to study Chiropractic.”
During his studies in France, Edouard participated in a humanitarian mission in Italy after the Aquila’s earth quake.
Dr. Edouard has worked as a chiropractor in his home town in Chamonix, as well as in a multi disciplined medical clinic in valle d’Aosta Italy. He is proficient in Diversified, Gonstead, HIO, and SOT. But is particularly an expert in Gonstead cervical adjusting.
Interests outside of health care include: Travel, Reading books, learning new things and new languages. Growing up in the shadow of Europe’s highest mountain, Edouard became a paragliding pilot by the age of 14. He is an enthusiastic expert with almost any sport having to do with rock, ice or snow, including rock climbing skiing, mountaineering and flying.
