The Head office of the organization is at Chorley in Lancashire and they also have local contact offices across England. The organization maintains a register of all practicing hypnotherapists runs periodic meetings, workshops and seminars to advance the knowledge and skills of members and regulates the practice of hypnotherapy. The organization also establishes a code of ethics that member hypnotherapists are expected to adhere to and publishes a quarterly journal to educate and advance the skills of practicing hypnotherapists and students of hypnotherapy.
