Dr. Michael Veal

Dr. Veal qualified with an Honours degree from the University of Glamorgan, Wales in 2001. After completing his degree in Chiropractic, he then moved to the south west of England to finish his final fifth year of training in private practice.

He spent four years in private practice and whilst doing so completed hundreds of hours of further education within his specialty area the management of sports injury and extremity conditions, these included common conditions such as shoulder tendonitis and rotator cuff tear to those as diverse as plantar fasciitis (heel spur syndrome) and Achilles tendonitis in the foot.

He travels regularly to the UK and Europe as well as previously to the US attending educational courses to remain at the top of his field and abreast of current developments in the management of physical conditions.

Dr Olivia Veal

Dr. Olivia qualified with honours following a four-year degree programme in 2001. Her link to the area goes back much further as she attended primary school in Camolin and attended secondary school in Bunclody at the FCJ.

After graduation Olivia travelled to Cornwall to complete the fifth year of her training in a progressive practice with contracts in the manufacturing industry. Through her work there Olivia gained valuable experience in the prevention and management of back pain and associated conditions in an industrial setting and worked with companies to improve productivity and reduce absenteeism in the workplace through good work practices as well as effective chiropractic treatment.

Upon returning to Ireland Olivia in conjunction with her husband Michael established the clinic with the aim of offering high quality Chiropractic care as well as onsite x ray facilities to allow for better diagnosis of physical conditions.

Olivia keeps abreast of all developments in the management of back pain and the physical treatment of it as and has featured as a guest on South East radio talking about chiropractic care and recently as a guest on the Karl Fitzpatrick Business Matters show discussing Ergonomics and prevention of  injury in the workplace.

Olivia is also the clinic coordinator of the straighten up Ireland campaign a voluntary campaign whereby the clinic chiropractors visit local schools most recently Barntown NS to provide advice to staff parents and pupils on prevention of back pain through good posture, correct lifting technique and simple exercises.

Dr. Yvonne Gallagher

Dr. Yvonne also graduated from the University of Glamorgan Wales with a Masters and from there she moved to St Andrews in Scotland into private practice. Within this practice Yvonne was heavily involved in the treatment of golfers suffering from back-related complaints as well as sports injuries relating to golf.

Subsequently Yvonne originally from Sligo wished to relocate back to Ireland and she was a welcome addition to the team at Gorey Family Chiropractic clinic in 2011. Dr. Yvonne also regularly attends both national and internationally based seminars and courses, most recently training in the provision of medical dry needling, a form of acupuncture for the benefit of her patients.
