Clane Chiropractic

Richard Wakefield graduated in 2002 with a first class honours degree in Chiropractic from the University of Glamorgan in Wales (now the University of South Wales).  A keen sportmans man with an interest in golf, rugby and a developing interest in GAA, Richard has post graduate training in Dry Needling and rehabilative exercises essential for treating the pro and everyday sports person. 

He has a passion for helping those with disc issues, endevouring with chiropractic care and rehabilation to return them to full health. 

Prior to establishing Clane Chiropractic with his wife Ellen, Richard worked as an associate chiropractor for 8 years in prominent clinics in Essex and Cambridgeshire and with the NHS (UK health service).  He worked in close conjunction with orthopaedic consultants and other health professionals in the region and this is something he hopes to foster in Ireland.

 Richard continues to hold registration with the General Chiropractic Council in the UK and is a member of the Chiropractic Association of Ireland.

Ellen Finnegan graduated in 2002 with a first class honours degree in Chiropractic from the University of Glamorgan in Wales (now the University of South Wales).  With extensive post-graduate training in the Chiropractic treatment of pregnant women and babies she has become one of the most renowned chiropractors in this field in Ireland, with many referrals coming from health care professionals across the country.  Clane Chiropractic as a result has a thriving and vibrant pregnancy and baby clinic offering excellent ante-natal, post-natal and paediatric chiropractic care to the community.

Prior to establishing Clane Chiropractic with her husband Richard, Ellen worked as an associate chiropractor in leading multidisciplinary clinics in South East England.  Ellen continues to hold registration with the General Chiropractic Council in the UK and is a member of the Chiropractic Association of Ireland.
