Shirley studied to become a Chinese medicine practitioner at RMIT in Melbourne. This course is considered one of the best in Australia; it combines a fusion of both conventional Western medicine with traditional Chinese therapies and includes an internship to China during the fifth and final year of study.
After completing her studies, Shirley worked in Melbourne’s northern suburbs and in rural Western Victoria before settling in the heart of Melbourne’s CBD at Body and Health Creation. She has attended many seminars covering topics such as fertility, paediatrics, infectious disease and autoimmune disorders. She has given talks around the state on Chinese medicine for diabetes, pain relief and women’s health just to name a few.
Shirley is currently complementing her double degree with a 4 year course in Naturopathy at the Southern School of Natural Medicine.
Shirley is able to help you with a broad range of health concerns just like a visit to your GP. She specialises in women’s health, fertility, chronic digestive disorders and mental health.
With a background in Anatomy, Physiology, Pharmacology and Pathology as well as Chinese Medicine such as Acupuncture, Herbal Medicine, Cupping, Moxabustion, Chinese Massage (Tuina) and diet therapy she is aims to return you and your loved ones to health in a natural and gentle and effective way.
