Patricia attended La Guardia College in New York City where she received her Nursing Degree. She excelled as a student and received numerous Awards at the College including: Placement on the Dean's List each year, placement on the National Dean's List of America and was inducted into the Phi Theta Kappa International Honour Society. Patricia went on to work as a Charge Nurse in Lenox Hill Hospital New York City which is ranked as one of the top hospitals in the United States. She also worked for Wagner Home Care Nursing Agency in New York City and worked for the Actor Robert De Niro caring for his father, among other celebrities. Patricia continued her nursing education at Hunter University New York City and completed two years of the Nurse Practitioner Program where she again was a high Honours student. Patricia returned to Ireland due to a family tragedy and was accepted into the Podiatry (Podiatric Medicine) Program at NUIG in 2010.
