He established the exclusive department of Aesthetic surgery and Aesthetic medicine at Shalby hospitals, Ahmedabad. Till April, 2013 he rendered his services as head of the unit there.

He has performed surgery on many well-known celebrities, politicians, models, TV serial actors and film stars and he respects privacy and confidentiality of the treatment. Hema is an excellent teacher also; she has trained many plastic surgeons, dermatologists, aesthetic physicians and aesthetician. She had conducted several courses of aesthetic surgery and aesthetic medicine.
