I did inquire for Dr Paul Montemayor web site how much the doctor fee and scan and replied to me personally via email and answer my inquiries and explained the possible treatments. Took me 3 weeks to make up my mind to send my mum to his clinic due to my province, we really need a duplex scan because of the provincial doc. Asked us to get one and in Pampanga no doc available to get that scan. The doc in Pampanga is not available and needed to wait for a month due to out of the country doc. And it's really expensive in my province. Today I went to his clinic with my mum (who is the patient) when the time he saw my mum he knows what's wrong and asks about what she feels and told us she needs a rheumatologist. And explain what she is experiencing it's the loss of cartilage and so on. And told us no need for duplex scan cause its waste of money. Was grateful to his advice and teach my mum how to use a cane properly. It's worth the experience coming to his clinic and he's so nice may bless him. Thank you, again.

Varicose vein is a very common disease. It may present in several ways. Aside from an obvious bulging or flat leg veins of the leg, patients may experience leg ache, heaviness or even pain. If left untreated, the varicose veins worsens with time. Some of the complication associated with varicose vein include hyperpigmentation, venous stasis ulcer, lipodermatosclerosis and others. There are several treatment options available such as:1. High ligation and Vein stripping,2. Endovenous thermal ablation using Laser or Radiofrequency, 3. Mechnicochemical ablation using the Clarivein system4. Ambulatory microphlebectomy5. Transilluminated, ultrasound guided sclerotherapy 6. Superficial spot RF therapy for spider veins and telangiectasiaPrior to any varicose vein treatment, it is recommended that the patient undergo clinical evaluate which includes history & PE and if needed venous duplex study. Treatment plan is based on the clinical evaluation and assessment. At times patient may undergo one or two or a combination of the different treatment modalities. All our interventions mentioned above except for the high ligation and vein stripping are done in the office- as an outpatient procedure.
