Dr Spira graduated from St Bartholomews Hospital, London and was for many years Senior Partner in a large busy NHS general practice. He was also Consulting Doctor to BUPA Wellness, London. He has a special interest in weight management which he has written many books about and made several national TV appearances. He was adviser to several leading slimming organisations and publications and is a member of the National Obesity Forum. Shortly before joining The Westover he was Medical Director of a Harley Street clinic.
Dr Buxton graduated from Bristol University in 1996, having also completed a degree in Psychology. She trained in hospital Paediatrics prior to becoming a doctor and remains a member of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child health. She has worked as a GP in London since 2002, obtaining MRCGP in 2003. She enjoys all areas of General Practice, with a particular interest in Women’s health, Paediatrics and Adolescent care
Dr Smart has worked in various postgraduate teaching posts in Scotland, Australia and New Zealand since qualifying from the University of Sheffield Medical School in 1994. For the past eight years David has worked as a doctor at The Westover where he is involved in all aspects of general practice, particularly paediatrics and child development, psychiatry and men’s health
