Full Mouth Reconstruction and Implantology
After graduating from the University of Lund in 1984, Dr Nilsson worked for The National Health Service in Sweden where he continued his education with a special interest in dental implants and complicated reconstructions. In 1986, he moved to Italy to join The Scandinavian Clinic of Odontology where he continued to pursue his special interests.
In 1988, Dr Nilsson moved to the USA where he continued his professional education with the main focus on implantology, working as a Dental Implant System Specialist for leading dental implant company Nobelpharma [later NobelBiocare).
After graduating from the University of New York, with an American Dental Degree in 1993, he opened a practice in New York which he ran for 12 years, with a focus on cosmetic dentistry, full mouth reconstruction and implants. During this time, Dr Nilsson also held a Clinical Assistant Professorship at The Department of Implant Dentistry at The New York Dental School, teaching post graduate students implant dentistry (Surgical and Prosthodontics). Dr Nilsson has received many awards and certificates of appreciation for his lectures, conventions and private study groups over the years.
Dr Nilsson belongs to many associations including the American and British Dental Associations, The American Academy of Osteointegration [the first implant organisation in the world] and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, and a member of the British Association of Cosmetic Dentistry to name only a few.
Dr Nilsson moved to London in 2006, offering his vast experience in dental implants and cosmetic dentistry at Crescent Lodge.
We have provision to see patients at short notice if necessary, particularly if an emergency situation arises and prompt treatment is required.
