Claire has been a beauty therapist for over 18 years and was one of the first in Weston super mare to specialise in semi-permanent make up.
In 2006 She underwent intensive training in Harley Street, with one of the most prestigious and respected academy’s in London, and achieved a diploma of Excellence in Semi-Permanent Make-Up .
She also qualified to practice medical Micro-pigmentation, which means she can deal with scar camouflage, permanent make-up to mask hair loss for people with alopecia or cancer, and areola reconstruction following breast surgery.
Claire regularly attends seminars and courses to ensure her clients receive the very latest style and techniques available.
She said: “I think what sets me apart from other technicians is my unique artistic flair, a skill that is only seen in a handful of others.
“I also pride myself on my ability to listen and empathise, which helps me to fully understand the client’s needs and get the best results for them.”
Claire regularly gives talks to NHS nurses about the benefits of micro-pigmentation for cancer patients and is frequently invited to attend the Alopecia Look Good, Feel Good convention as guest speaker.
Claire uses her own treatments on herself and says she ‘loves to wake-up with make-up’.
She said: “at the time It seemed there was no one offering semi-permanent make-up outside of London, so I decided to bring it to Weston. I can offer clients the same amazing procedure in their hometown, without the London price tag.”
Claire is a busy mum of two boys, but in her spare time she loves to travel, party, swim, cook and enjoy social meals.
