Were you pleased with the treatment?
I haven't gone for any treatment yet, but I submitted an enquiry last night regarding facial fat reduction procedures. It's the 3rd day of CNY today, hence still a public holiday, so I am very impressed that I received a reply from Dr Tam himself. He actually asked me to send him a photo of my problem area after a couple of emails to and fro (all within 2 hours) to find out what I wanted to do. I took one of my lower cheeks and sent him, and he said he's not sure if I should do any fat reduction in the first place. He did not ask me to go down for a consultation until I asked if I should, there were no suggestions of other procedures, so no hard-selling there and gentle coercion. I know some people may be concerned about privacy issues when doctors ask for photos, but I think it's important you protect your own identity while giving them enough info to work with (I only took half a face, from mid cheekbones down), and he just about gave me a free virtual consultation so I have no issues with that. Overall, very impressed with the service.
Since he has expressed that there may be no need for fat reduction, I am not sure if I will still book a consultation yet. If I do, it will probably be for Zeltiq. That's another long story, but cut it short, I had called to enquire previously and found that it was 800 per area plus RF (flanks on both sides would be 2 areas). That is honestly one of the best prices I have come across, and I've called/emailed to check with at least 6 other clinics. The only price that beats it is 1500 for 2 areas but no RF, and the LipoCryo procedure.
