Dr. Rhesa May Manaloto-Martinez is a graduate of the University of the Philippines College of Medicine. After her Dermatology Residency at the same university, she  pursued the much coveted and highly competitive Laser Surgery Fellowship at the Washington Institute of Dermatologic Laser Surgery. Her mentor, Dr. Tina S. Alster  is one of the pioneers in Cutaneous Laser Surgery. During her 1-year fellowship training, Dr. Martinez gained expertise using various lasers. She has several scientific articles published in local and international Journals. She presented her works at the American Society for Lasers and Medicine and most recently, at the Congress of the European Masters in Anti-aging and Aesthetic Medicine. Dr. Martinez is also active in the academe, as one of the consultants of the Skin and Cancer Foundation and the St. Luke’s Medical Center, she supervises young doctors training to become dermatologists. Dr. Martinez also is invited by various institutions to give lectures on laser surgery. She is a board-certified fellow of the Philippine Dermatological Society and an International Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology.
