Review Went Elixir De Vie in Medan for Liposuction of thighs and arms this year. My experience with Elixir De Vie; Dr Arthur Tjandra was good. Elixir De Vie itself is a 3 storey building. 1st floor - reception, surgery room, post-op massage rooms, gym room. 2nd floor - patients room(s), massage rooms, living room, kitchen. Anyway, the patient room was nicely furnished. With TV, dvd player, and lots of satellite channels. The whole clinic is very clean, as its constantly cleaned by the maid. Dr Arthur Tjandra did a very long and detailed consultation. He uses the traditional liposuction method, do 3D liposuction (means inner, outer, front and back), which cannot be found in Singapore, as its very time consuming. And Dr Arthur Tjandra only does one surgery per day (so that he give his focus on that particular patient). My thigh liposuction (7 areas), took about 3 hours, and drew out 2.7 litres of fat. Anyway, I don't remember what happened during the surgery. So don't really have to worry about the pain. Oh yeah! They provide free post-op massage everyday! (: I'm into my post-op 3rd month now (thighs), and I'm absolutely happy with the results! Post-op 3rd week for my Arms. No more bruises after the 1st week, but still slightly swollen (even though swollen, but still smaller than before lipo). By the way, Dr Arthur stays in the clinic too. So, if anyone is interested to do liposuction, you should really consider to have it done at Elixir De Vie.
