Dr. Stephen Chan, MRCP(UK), DRCOG, DFFP, MB BS (Lond), BSc is the founder and director of the Life Clinic. He graduated with a double degree in medicine and psychology from University College London Medical School in the UK in 1993 and trained in numerous medical fields, including ardiology, neurology, chest medicine and Dermatology.

Dr. Chan became a member of the Royal College of Physicians, a pathway normally to specialisation, but felt passionately about offering his patients holistic and integrated treatments and expanded his training into Anti-aging and Functional Medicine.

Miles spent the first few years of his career developing plant extracts for UK pharmacy giant Boots. He moved to Hong Kong in 2006 to focus on a more clinical and holistic approach to health, dispensing dietary and exercise advice to members of a Hong Kong prestigious health club chain.

In 2009 he established his own practice to focus on his area of primary interest: the direct benefits of customising nutrition, according to ones metabolism, using the ‘Metabolic Typing’ and ‘biosignature modulation’ modalities. In 2010, he embarked on a Masters programme in Holistic Nutrition at the prestigious Hawthorn University, USA. Hawthorn specializes in applying a more clinical and diagnostic approach to nutrition together with appreciating the biochemical individuality. In 2011 Miles joined LIFE Clinic as a Holistic Nutritionist dispensing dietary, supplementary and lifestyle advice to patients looking for a more preventative approach to health.
