Dr. Topinka graduated from the Faculty of Pediatric Medicine of Charles University in Prague in 1967. Following graduation, he worked as a secondary physician at the Clinic of Surgery of the Faculty Hospital in Prague 10. In 1969, he transferred to the Clinic of Plastic Surgery of the same hospital, where he held the position of Assistant-Lecturer. During thirty years of his medical practice at the Faculty Hospital, he has held the position of Secretary of the Department of Plastic Surgery and Head Physician of the department. He has been employed as a physician and surgeon at LD Clinic since 1997.

Dr. Aleš Nejedlý graduated from the Medical Faculty of Charles University in Prague. He has been working at the Clinic of Plastic Surgery of the Kralovske Vinohrady`s Faculty hospital since 1983. Dr. Nejedlý currently serves as a head Physician of the clinic.

Jitka Vrtiskova, MD graduated from the Faculty of General Medecine of Charles University. Attestation in general surgery and attestation in plastic surgery. 4 year praxis of general surgery and then working over 20 years at the Clinic of Plastic Surgery in Prague. Author of several scientific studies and lectures.

Eva Leamerová, MD graduated from the Faculty of General Medicine of Charles University in Prague in 1988. Following 3 years, she worked as secondary physician at the Clinic of Surgery of the Faculty Hospital in Prague 10. Dr. Zdenek Pros graduated from the Medical Faculty of Charles University in Prague. He holds a certificate in the surgery and plastic surgery. He works at the Clinic of Plastic Surgery of III. MF CHU in Prague for more than 8 years. As a member of microsurgery team he completed dozens of reattachments of limbs or their parts, as well as reconstruction procedures. He was the first surgeon in the Czech Republic to successfully reattach a scalp within the microsurgical program for the whole Czech Republic. Currently, he devotes his time to esthetic plastic surgery and works as an assistant in the Sub-Department of Plastic Surgery in the Institute of Post-graduate Education in Health Service. He has played a significant part in introducing ultrasound liposuction into practice in the Czech Republic. Because of his achievements he is among the most popular plastic surgeons sought after by Czech and foreign patients.

In 1984, he began to work at the Orthopaedic Clinic of the Faculty Hospital in Royal Vinohrady, under the leadership of Prof. Cech, where he remained to 1995. He participated in a research program on the locomotorium and artificial replacement hip joints. He has cooperated for a long time with sports clubs of professional and advanced sports and specializes in sports traumatology. He was the head of the sports out-patient department with emphasis on disorders of the soft knee tissue. At the present time, he holds the position of Head Physician in the Department of Orthopaedics of Lekárský dum.

Until July 1990, he was employed in the Slaný Hospital in the Department of Gynaecology and Obstetrics. From August 1990, he was employed at the II Clinic of Gynaecology and Obstetrics of the later (9/1998) merged Clinic of Gynaecology and Obstetrics of the Ist Faculty of Medicine of Charles University and the General Faculty Hospital in Prague. He gradually worked as a secondary physician in all the departments of the clinic. He began to concentrate on aspects of urogynaecology after 1991. In 1995, he began to work on the subject of the climacterium. He is currently one of the foremost specialists in this country in this area. Exclusive specialisation in the field allows him to provide: superconsiliary work for gynaecologists in the field in this area, and professional lectures both for women and in the framework of further education of other physicians and preparation of PhD. theses. The Centre of Climacteric Medicine was established at Lekárský dum in October 2000.
