The best thing I have ever done

5 50 Breast Implants

Booked my initial consultation for 3rd November 2022, in Ulster Independent clinic with Dr Sinclair. I had heard lots of good reviews about him. Got a cancellation slot for my appointment in days time at 8.30am 10th August 2022.

Everything moved pretty quickly from then. Initial consultation was full of information by Dr Sinclair followed by my sizing appointment in Fitzwilliam Clinic 26th October 2022. I then received a phone call a week later to tell me the date of my surgery. I was very very nervous about being under anaesthetic, more than the operation itself. I had to go for a covid test Friday before my appointment, the nurse Georgina was amazing, very calming and chilled me out.

Day of surgery- Monday 21st November 2022, I arrived to receive another covid test, Stephanie the nurse told me it was just to be sure, Stephanie stayed with me the whole time, while I got my gown on, got drawn up by Dr Sinclair & she walked to the theatre with me.

I got really reassured by all the nurses in the room. Ann my antitheist was very calming too. I got a butterfly in my hand & a mask over my face. Next thing I remember wakening up with my new boobs in a warm bed being spoke to by a nurse - Rebecca. Someone who I will be forever grateful for. She made me feel reassured, calm & helped me get dressed, made me tea, chatted about life in general.

I was in surgery at 10.05 am and home and in my own bed by 1.30 pm.
I had a 10 day review with Dr Sinclair & Georgina. Went well. Then a 3 month review with Dr Sinclair & Stephanie. Went well. I was told any problems to give them a call.

5 months on and I don't ever know what I was afraid of. The best thing I have ever done. I am writing about my experience as reading the reviews before hand helped and supported me. Dr Sinclair is amazing at what he does and will all the help from his brilliant staff. If your thinking about it, I would highly recommend. If you are insecure about your boobs like I was. This will be the best thing you will ever do.

Everything was explained upfront and the procedure carried out at my first visit

5 50 Medical Aesthetics Specialist Consultation

I have recently had a basal cell carcinoma removed from my face and a graft done. (Mr Small had completed a similar procedure on my nose in 2019.) Everything was explained upfront and the procedure carried out at my first visit. His expertise is second to none.

In fact, from reception right through to the nursing staff and surgical team, you are made to feel welcome and valued. I was an NHS referral on both occasions, but this made no difference to my treatment, it was first class. I am currently having to follow up checks by the nursing team and later, a follow-up phone consultation with the plastic surgeon is scheduled.

Overall I am still very happy with the result

5 50 Breast Reduction • Paid: £5000

I had Breast reduction surgery 2 years ago. My surgeon was Mr Sinclair. He was very professional and caring. The whole staff are fantastic. I had my surgery but unfortunately had a problem with skin healing. I then had to attend for a number of months to get treated and cleaned. I then had corrective surgery which went very well. I was one of the few whom this happens to.

Overall I am still very happy with the result. I have a bit of downward scarring, which has now faded. I thoroughly recommend this place.

First class service and price

5 50 Paid: £1800

I had an Otoplasty Procedure with Dr. Harry Lewis and to put it simply, the man is a fantastic Plastic Surgeon. After considering this for a number of years I went ahead with the procedure and it has changed my confidence immeasurably in work and in my personal life. I cannot recommend the value of having these procedures done locally. The price and aftercare were second to none. The procedure itself was quick and recovery took a week to remove the bandage. I was back to work the after that.

I have recommended Harry to friends and on a personal level, he has a great way of putting you at ease. If you are considering having this done, you will not regret it.

The clinic is a relaxed and friendly environment, the staff cannot do enough to assist you. First class service and price.

Incision scars have nearly completely healed over

5 50 Breast Implants

Have always had small breasts (32A/B) since puberty.... continually waited for them to grow but that day never came!! My father is a plastic surgeon so the world of surgery has always just been a dinnertable conversation and so normal to me! The idea of getting any operations was therefore not alien to me and didn't scare me! Decided about a year ago that a breast augmentation was what I really wanted. My father therefore put me in-touch with his colleague who worked in the Fitzwilliam clinic, who I had a consultation with back in August. We decided on 310 ccs.
The operation date was set for december. I wasn't nervous or emotional on the day of the operation and was familiar with all of the clinic staff so was put at ease. Operation and recovery went really well and could feel improvements every single day. I was on painkillers for just over a week but was out of bed on day 2 and back to normal life about day 5/6.
Initially my breasts were very tight and swollen with no movement what-soever!! But now, just over 2 weeks post-op my breasts have softened dramatically and the incision scars have nearly completely healed over.

Lovely clinic, very modern but professional looking. Onsite car-parking is useful! Receptionists are lovely and so are all nurses and surgeons. Located in the centre of belfast and very easy to travel to via car or public transport (about 5 mins walk from city hospital train station)
