Dr. Rosales is a prominent Bariatric Surgeon who became part of our medical team in 2023. Highly acclaimed for her surgical expertise, she earned her medical degree from the University of Baja California (Universidad Autonoma de Baja California) and specialized in General Surgery at Tijuana General Hospital, also affiliated with UABC. She has honed her skills in General Surgery at the Tijuana Medical Specialties Unit (UNEME) in Baja California.

With a track record of performing over 5000 weight loss surgeries by 2023, Dr. Rosales has played a pivotal role as both a lead and assisting surgeon. Her experience extends beyond bariatric surgery, including additional abdominal procedures such as cholecystectomies, hernia repairs, and tubal ligations, which are often performed concurrently with bariatric surgery. She is distinguished as one of the few bariatric surgeons in Mexico proficient in single incision gastric sleeve surgery, Roux-en-Y (RNY) and Mini Gastric Bypass surgery, as well as SADI-S and revision surgeries for both low and high BMI patients. Dr. Rosales is certified by the Mexican Board of General Surgery.

Dr Barraza graduated from the Autonomous University of Sinaloa and specialized in General Surgery at the ISSEMIM Toluca Medical Center at the National Autonomous University of Mexico. Dr. Barraza specialized in Gastrointestinal Endoscopy at the Medical Center ISSEMIM Toluca, National Autonomous University of Mexico. He has a Masters Degree in Administration of Health from the Institutions in the Tec Mexiquense, advanced training in bariatric surgery FAMIS/ITESM, advance Bariatric Endoscopy training from the Hospital Juarez de Mexico and ASGE Bariatric Training certified by the Mexican Council of General Surgery AC. He is also certified by the Mexican Council of Gastroenterology.
