First AppointmentOn your first appointment you will be warmly greeted by the receptionist, asked to fill in your details and a few questions regarding your current condition and medical history. The physiotherapist will lead you through to one of four individual and private treatment rooms where you will be asked further detailed questions about your history. Your physiotherapist will complete a detailed and thorough assessment of your problem including range of movement, muscle power, neurological testing, muscle spasm and pain along with any possible underlying causes and will give you a working diagnosis for your problem. He/She will then offer you a variety of treatment techniques to help restore normal function to the relevant area and help alleviate your symptoms. Our Health Clinic is based in Borehamwood and was founded and is still run by Martin & Lisa Vine. We are mainly a Chiropody and Podiatry based clinic, but carry out some other treatments as well. Martin has been qualified as a Podiatrist for over 20 years specialising in Ingrown toenails and surgery, sports injuries in the legs and feet such as plantar fasciitis, mortons neuroma, shin splints, achillies tendonitis, etc. with rehabilitative techniques including Acupuncture, Mobilisations, kinesiology type treatments, exercise programmes, biomechanics and orthotics.
