Nicky (Nicola) qualified with a BSc Hons Degree in Physiotherapy in 1994 at the University of Westminster and St Mary’s, London. From 1994 – 2002 she worked in London NHS hospitals, specialising in musculo-skeletal conditions from 1996. From 2002-2007 she worked in a Private outpatient clinic in Edinburgh. Since 2004 she has also worked part-time as a lecturer at Queen Margaret University, Edinburgh.
She is also a published author in Archives of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and prior to qualifying as a Physiotherapist, she completed a Degree in Psychology.
Interest/speciality
Whilst in Edinburgh, she worked as a specialist Physiotherapist treating patients with musculo-skeletal and vestibular conditions and worked directly with the Sports Medicine Consultant. She has a keen interest in complex musculo-skeletal problems, vestibular conditions and is a qualified Pilates instructor. She is a member of Special Interest groups in Sports Medicine, Orthopaedics, Acupuncture and Vestibular Rehabilitation.
