I have had issues with a thickened toe nail for many years, which I have tried and failed to treat myself as my GP was totally not interested in, despite it causing pain. The best option for me was to have the toenail completely removed, which was carried out very efficiently and professionally. On the day of the procedure everything was explained to me and Marion only moved onto the next step once she was sure I was comfortable and understood what was going to happen. There were no surprises and I felt in control at all times. Once the anaesthetic kicked in I didn’t feel a thing and was fascinated by the whole procedure. Recovery was also painless thanks to Marion’s advice and list of supplies that I would need to change the dressing, all of which were sent to me in advance I am now looking forward to a healthy nail regrowth. I wish I discovered Marion years ago and would not hesitate to recommend her. Thank you so very much!!

Over the years I have suffered from aching lower back pain, and shoulder pain. I have been wearing a shoulder support brace and support vest for many years. I cannot leave home without them. I then pulled a muscle in my back, so I finally went to get this all sorted out once and for all. I am seeing Lucy, this is my second visit, and I am already feeling the deference. Lucy identified the problem right away. I have lost strength in my lower back, and my core is very weak. Lucy is very warm and friendly; I feel very comfortable with her. she has explained in great detail why I have been wearing my support braces for so many years and has encouraged me to trust myself and to start believing that I will be ok without my support braces. I have not worn them for 3 days now, when I start to feel the shoulder pain, it reminds me to hold my core, and surprisingly enough the pain eases up. Since doing the specific exercises and practicing holding my core and controlling my breathing, I already feel better about myself. Thank you, Lucy.

Non-traditional acupuncture or medical dry needling reinterprets the traditional apparatus of "meridians" and "points" and is based on the modern understanding of anatomy, physiology, and pathology. In many cases dry needling is used on "trigger points" in muscles, these are tender points within muscles which cause pain when pressed and radiate pain to other areas. Needling the trigger points can relieve pain in these distant areas. Acupuncture can still work even when there are no trigger points. In such cases it is thought it acts by changing the ways in which the central nervous system (brain and spinal cord) is transmitting information about pain. If considered suitable by your practitioner, medical dry needling can be used to treat different forms of pain, particularly pain in the muscles and joints.
