Ryde Chiropractic and Complementary Therapies

Ryde Chiropractic and Complementary Therapies is owned and managed by Roxanne Cussen, a McTimoney Chiropractor.

Roxanne graduated in 2000 with a First Class Bachelor of Science Honours Degree in Applied Sports Science from the University of Glamorgan.

On finishing University, Roxanne was drawn towards a career in Chiropractic, and specifically the McTimoney technique, having received the treatment herself following a bad fall from a horse. She enrolled at the McTimoney College of Chiropractic in Abingdon in 2001 and graduated in 2005 with a Bachelor of Science Honours Degree in Chiropractic.

In March 2005 Roxanne, along with a fellow graduate, opened the Clinic in Ryde and she hasn't looked back. Since qualifying, Roxanne has continued to develop her skills attending various seminars and courses, with a specific interest in Soft Tissue techniques and the treatment of headaches and migraines.

Roxanne is a professional member of the McTimoney Chiropractic Association (MCA) and is registered with the General Chiropractic Council (GCC), the governing body that regulates all Chiropractors in the UK. 

Beth Caws is an associate at Ryde Chiropractic and Complementary Therapies and joined them as a certified McTimoney Chiropractor in 2014.

After studying at Brockenhurst College gaining qualifications in Indian Head massage and Reflexology Beth 

enrolled onto the access course at the McTimoney college of Chiropractic, which gained her a qualification in ITEC Swedish massage. After this she completed the Masters degree in McTimoney Chiropractic and graduated in 2013 as an MChiro.

During her years at The McTimoney College of Chiropractic she worked as a Remedial Massage therapist. This has helped Beth to gain a good understanding of the musculo-skeletal system and feels that the two therapies work very well together.

Beth is a professional member of the McTimoney Chiropractic Association (MCA) and is registered with the General Chiropractic Council (GCC), the governing body that regulates all Chiropractors in the UK.

Susie is an Associate Chiropractor and she joined the clinic in 2017. 

After gaining a Bachelor of Science Honours degree from Cardiff University and a Master of Science degree from Heriot-Watt University Susie moved to the Isle of Wight. 

She was drawn to the McTimoney technique due to its effectiveness in relieving her sports related injuries and decided to train for a new career as a McTimoney Chiropractor. 

She enrolled at the McTimoney College of Chiropractic in Oxfordshire in 2012 and graduated in 2016 with an Integrated Masters in Chiropractic. She has also been a qualified Swedish Body Massage practitioner since 2012.

Susie is registered with the General Chiropractic Council and is a member of the McTimoney Chiropractic Association 

Christine is a fully qualified professional acupuncturist with a first class honours degree from the renowned College of Integrated Chinese Medicine in Reading. She is a member of the British Acupuncture Council, the largest governing body for acupuncturists in the UK. She is also a fully qualified practising NADA-UK (National Acupuncture Detoxification Association) ear acupuncturist. Christine offers a professional and confidential service and is registered with the Isle of Wight Council.
Christine offers the following therapies: acupuncture, facial cosmetic acupuncture and dermarolling, ear acupuncture, electro acupuncture, Chinese cupping massage, Tui na massage, gua sha, moxibustion and Indian head massage.

Christine practises integrated Traditional Chinese Medicine and Five Element acupuncture. She has lived on the Island for 25 years.
