Tuam Acupuncture Clinic is owned by Siobhan Duffy, a local Tuam woman. Siobhan trained with The College of Integrative Acupuncture, Galway. She established Tuam Acupuncture Clinic in 2013. Tuam Acupuncture Clinic is a member of The Acupuncture Council of Ireland. All members are interviewed and insurance verified before becoming members of the ACI. All members are bound by a Code of Ethics and a Code of Practice, thus offering a guarantee of confidence to any patient seeking treatment. Acupoint is an Acupuncture Clinic at Arthurstown, run by Deirdre Phelan.I provide Acupuncture treatment for many ailments including:Pain relief, Neurological Conditions, Sinus Problems, Asthma, Anxiety and Stress, Insomnia, Gynaecological Problems and much more.I practice from my house and I provide a warm and therapeutic treatment room there.My patients can be treated seated or lying down whichever is more appropriate to them.I am a member of the Acupuncture Council of Ireland.I  qualified almost 20 years ago from the Acupuncture Foundation and studied at a Traditional Chinese Medicine hospital at Nanjing, China. Only fully qualified and insured practitioners can become members of the organisation. All members are bound by the Codes of Ethics and Code of Practice, which is Strictly Enforced by the Traditional Chinese Medicine Council of Ireland, thus offering a guarantee of confidence to any patient seeking treatment. I am fully insured. I carry Professional Indemnity and Public Liability Insurance Cover. It is a condition of membership of the ACI that each member carries Professional Indemnity and Public Liability Insurance Cover.
