The stay for vaginoplasty is a full week under the care of the wonderful nurses, ensuring I was able to walk and care for myself before leaving - important when one is alone and away from home. Seven years ago I walked into Dr Lau’s office since I had persistent throat pain. Dr Lau diagnosed advanced cancer and I underwent a robotic operation followed by radiation and chemotherapy. Although during this journey various other specialists did their part I chose Dr Lau as my focal point and main doctor. The reason was that from the moment I stepped into his office 7 years ago I experienced his very high level of expertise, enormous care and 100% integrity. I can honestly say that I have always felt very lucky that it was Dr Lau who was next to me during this quite challenging journey which will be continued.
